Rehabilitation of Street Children Through Sports

The Head of Human Development and Social Empowerment Division within the Human and Social Sciences Sector of the Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ICESCO) has unveiled a transformative project in collaboration with the Pakistan National Commission for UNESCO.

This groundbreaking initiative, developed in partnership with ICESCO, aims to rehabilitate vulnerable children in Pakistan through sports. With an estimated cost of 10,000, the project will provide access to structured sports activities, mentorship, and support services for street children, fostering their integration into society.

The execution of the project will be overseen by the Pakistan National Commission for UNESCO, with an MoU set to be signed soon. This initiative underscores ICESCO's commitment to promoting human development and social inclusion in the Islamic world
