The Prize recognizes significant contributions to scientific research on AI ethics, including international cooperation and the practical application of ethical AI principles.

Prize Award: USD 30,000 for each of three prize-winners, along with a certificate.

Deadline for Submission to PNCU: 1 January 2027

UNESCO Deadline: 30 January 2027

Relevant institutions, including universities, AI research centres and scientific organizations, are encouraged to disseminate this opportunity among eligible researchers and candidates.

Interested institutions and candidates are requested to submit nominations to PNCU by the internal deadline indicated above to allow sufficient time for processing and onward submission to UNESCO.
