Call for Applications: L’Oréal-UNESCO For Women in Science Award 2025: Deadline extended until 7th July 2025.

The Pakistan National Commission for UNESCO is pleased to announce that the deadline for the L’Oréal-UNESCO For Women in Science International Awards 2025 has been extended until 7th July 2025.

This prestigious award celebrates exceptional women researchers who have made outstanding contributions to scientific progress in Life Sciences, Physical Sciences, Mathematics, and Computer Science.

 Award Highlights:

  • Five laureates (one per region: Africa & Arab States, Asia & the Pacific, Europe, Latin America & the Caribbean, North America)

  • Each laureate receives €100,000

  • Recognizes scientific excellence and impact on society

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Nominees must be women scientists actively involved in research

  • Candidates must have made significant contributions to scientific advancement

  • Nominations must be submitted by a qualified individual or institution (no self-nominations)
