  1. UNESCO L’Oreal Award for Women in Science: (Created in 1998, the L’Oreal-UNESCO For Women in Science International Awards recognize the support eminent women in science throughout the world. Each year, five Laureates are recognized for their contributions to the advancement of science, in Life Sciences or Physical Sciences, Mathematics and Computer Science in alternating years). The prize winners are awarded a sum of Euros 100,000/- each. UNESCO generally announces this award during the months of April to June each year.
  2. MAB Young Scientists Awards:  (The MAB Young Scientists Awards targets young researchers carrying out interdisciplinary research in line with UNESCO’s Man and the Biosphere Programme. Until 2025, implementation of the UNESCO MAB Programme is guided by the MAB Strategy and Lima Action Plan for UNESCO’s MAB Programme and its World Network of Biosphere Reserves, which contributes to the achievement of the 2030 Agenda and it’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Awards are set at a maximum of US$ 5000/- each. The award generally announces by UNESCO during the month of October to January each year.
